even when you live in a beautiful, heavenly place, going back to work sucks.
especially when the last three weeks have been filled with:
the cutest thing on two skis...

deba and dad...

deba's famous pumpkin rolls...

billions of squeezes and smooches for this guy...(despite his protesting)

my first time skiing...

an endless stream of texts, phone calls, and skype dates with someone who makes me grin til my face hurts and giggle like a school girl...

and a "golden" birthday present to myself that couldn't have been better...(and trust me,
new york city is hard to beat)

ps. this was not my birthday cake. mine was a slightly frozen leftover 50th wedding anniversary cake. no joke.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
I LOVE the looks of that pumpkin roll. any chance the recipe could be shared???
I'd love to treat myself to that after I loose 10 lbs. It could be my reward. Although, I do know I"m not supposed to reward myself with food that looks like an entire experience of delight.
PS: I'm intrigued as to who is sending such happy text messages
That picture of you skiing is dang stinkin' cute. It almost wants me want to try skiing. Wish our UT time could have overlapped.
PS. I secon LeShel's PS
